WORCESTER — Worcester police vice detectives arrested several people on drug charges Tuesday after executing search warrants connected to an investigation into the distribution of crack cocaine in the city.
Police said detectives had search warrants for an apartment on Chandler Street and an Acura sedan on May 19th. Detectives saw the target of the warrant, 32-year-old Zachary Bergeron, pull up in front of the address and stopped him while other detectives entered the apartment.
Inside the apartment, police said detectives found Susan Bergeron, Kyle Bergeron and Kayla McAuley. A search turned up about 80 grams of cocaine, a large bag of psychedelic mushrooms, digital scales and drug processing materials, police said.
Police said additional crack cocaine was recovered from Zachary Bergeron’s vehicle.
Zachary Bergeron was charged with trafficking in cocaine, 36 to 99 grams. Kyle Bergeron and McAuley were arrested on outstanding warrants. Susan Bergeron will be summonsed on various drug charges, police said.
