A fire overnight has slightly damaged a popular Auburn restaurant.

Shortly after 10 p.m. Christmas night, Auburn 911 was alerted to flames coming from the roof of Major League Roast Beef and Wings, 503 Washington St., according to a tweet from the Auburn Fire Department.
The fire was contained to the rood and was brought under control quickly, according to a tweet.
Fire investigators concluded the cause of the fire was electrical.
The department said Major League Roast Beef will be open today.
