Brody's Diner on Route 20 reopened Wednesday morning after being closed for days because of damage caused by a vehicle crashing into the front wall.

According to a Tuesday afternoon post on Facebook, the diner wrote, "We're back".

An accident Friday left the local eatery in an inoperable condition, the owners announced on social media.

A vehicle appeared to crash into the front of the diner, pushing the wall a foot or more.

According to a post shared Friday afternoon, no customers were inside at the time of the incident, and no injuries were reported. Staff had just finished preparing to close for the day when the accident occurred.

“We appreciate your support as we try to navigate this time of uncertainty,” the post read. “Fortunately everyone was left unharmed. We hope to be back soon.”

On Saturday, the diner posted that work had already begun to fix the wall.
